  • Maintain network configurations and documentation, and securely remove configurations from retired equipment.

Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years of experience analyzing, installing or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, or telecommunications, network infrastructure equipment, and providing customer or technical support in information technology.
  • Up to Five (5) years of relevant education (in Computer Sciences or closely related field) may substitute year for year for experience.
  • Associate's degree = 2 years | Bachelor’s degree = 4 years | Master's degree = 5 years
  • Experience must include the ability to:

  • Must be available for on-call responsibilities, occasional evening and weekend work, and work beyond 40 hours as needed. Flexibility in scheduled workdays is required.
  • Must be able to travel locally and statewide, using state vehicles and potentially a personal vehicle.
  • Prior to new hire, a pre-employment check including criminal record history will be conducted. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant’s suitability and competence to perform in the position.
  • DOL is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals. In keeping with our commitment, we will take the steps to ensure that people with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations.
