Role Description

BRMi is seeking an IAM IT Analyst who will assist in creating and completing access management controls, including access certification campaigns and related quality assurance. The role involves:

• Researching, analyzing, compiling, and documenting data, requirements, workflow/processes, functionality, and controls related to Identity & Access Management.
• Developing and evaluating information, and preparing recommendations based on analysis for use in decision-making.
• Providing leadership for IAM compliance and strategic transformational projects or programs.
• Acting as a liaison or subject matter expert to business and technical stakeholders in understanding current and future IAM capabilities, functions, security governance, risk controls, and transitioning to new IAM transformation and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads and provides advanced levels of analysis and leadership across business stakeholders, technical stakeholders, and other analysts supporting IAM controls.
• Ensures IAM governance structures adhere to defined policies, standards, and controls.
• Maintains a continuous and strong security posture across all business and ISD IAM stakeholders.
• Facilitates translation of business and operational needs from Member and Workforce channels to improve existing capabilities.
• Analyzes and documents functional & nonfunctional requirements for various IAM domains.
• Engages business and technical stakeholders in transitioning to new IAM capabilities and services.
• Supports business and technical stakeholders to evaluate and update appropriate access for both users and privileged users.

Additional Responsibilities

• Experience with IAM Access Certifications Processes such as user access, privileged access, role-based access, etc.
• Skilled in performing Quality Assurance on Access Certification Campaigns and conducting gap analysis.
• Analyzes application functions and systems integrations, requirements, data, processes, and metrics/statistics.
• Interprets results of analysis; presents recommendations, including alternatives and implications.
• Collaborates with other business units to analyze and improve processing procedures and resolve problems.
• Ensures clear, concise, and effective communication of material.
• Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators and establishes processes for preventative mitigation.
• Conducts benchmarking, trend analysis, and other input to drive continuous improvement.
• Analyzes information to produce analytically-driven inferences and hypotheses.
• Solves business problems by defining the problem, interviewing stakeholders, and presenting findings.
• Provides input into best practices for the respective area.
• Analyzes changes in policies, procedures, and products; determines the impact on group functions.
• Identifies and analyzes opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology.
• Ensures compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union standards and best practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with transformational initiatives in an IT environment.
• 8+ years of experience working in an Identity and Access Management function, preferably in a financial service organization.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Desired: Prior experience in creating IAM governance collaterals.
• Desired: Good grasp of operational, regulatory, and other risks related to Access and Identity Lifecycle Services.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Extensive experience interpreting business technology requirements and creating IT solutions.
