Role Description

TISTA Science and Technology is seeking a Cloud/Cyber Solution Lead to join our growing team. • Design Zero Trust and TIC 3.0-compliant security architecture across VAEC, AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
• Lead RMF and A&A packages to obtain and keep ATOs (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring) per VA Handbook 6500.
• Set standards for secure development, encryption, logging, ICAM/PIV, and identity federation.
• Coordinate with VA ISOs, the Office of Information Security, and Field Security Services.
• Track ATO status across the product line and report it monthly.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience, including 10+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years on FISMA/RMF (Expert / Level IV or well-qualified Senior / Level III).
• Led ATO packages (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring).
• Zero Trust, TIC 3.0, and VA Handbook 6500 requirements.
• Desired Skills:
• Security architecture for AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
• ICAM/PIV and identity federation.
• Working with VA ISOs and the Office of Information Security.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• CISSP-ISSAP and CISSP-ISSEP.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.
