Role Description

Labcorp is seeking a remote Citrix Engineer to join our team!

• Define Citrix Desktop Virtualization, Virtual Workspace, and Application Delivery strategy and roadmap for the enterprise.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise-level Citrix environments including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix servers and related systems.
• Lead NetScaler implementations and configurations for networking, load balancing, and performance optimization.
• Develop, document, and enforce standards and controls to ensure integrity of the Citrix environment.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, enhance, and automate existing processes across the Citrix platform.
• Provide advanced technical consulting to internal teams for solution design, system management, tuning, and modification of solutions.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems with Citrix and related systems serving as the third-level escalation point for application support.
• Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for Citrix and related systems.
• Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences.
• 4 or more years of experience in information technology with a focus on Citrix virtualization engineering and administration.
• 4 or more years of experience deploying and managing large-scale Citrix environments with 2000 or more concurrent users.
• 4 or more years of experience with Citrix technologies including CVAD (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.1811 or later), Citrix NetScaler, PVS, StoreFront, Citrix Provisioning, Machine Creation Services (MCS), App-V Integration, Citrix AppLayering, and Citrix Workspace Environment Manager.
• 4 or more years of experience with Windows Server OS, VMware ESX-based virtualized server infrastructure, and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
• 4 or more years of experience with roadmap design, assessments, architecture, planning, implementation, and upgrades or migrations of Citrix Virtualization solutions.
• 3 or more years of experience configuring and managing complex Citrix environments containing XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, StoreFront, and Firewalls.
• 2 or more years of experience implementing end-to-end Citrix Desktop Virtualization, Virtual Workspace, and Application Delivery solutions.

Requirements

• CVAD – Citrix Virtual apps and Desktops, NetScaler – ADC and Console.
• Imaging services – MCS and App Layering.
• Capacity planning and performance Tuning - Advanced troubleshooting of login issues, profile issues, slow performance.
• Monitoring – Citrix Director and Analytics.
• PowerShell – Citrix Automation.
