Role Description

The CIO owns how technology enables the business to run, scale, and win. This is a build-and-align role, not a pure IT role. You connect systems to operations, not systems to theory.

You design and install a business-first technology model that supports branch operations, fleet performance, sales execution, customer experience, and financial visibility across the platform. You standardize what drives value, protect what keeps the field fast, and remove friction across functions.

You operate as a partner to the business. You do not push IT programs. You pull solutions from real operating pain points and deliver tools that leaders use daily.

Success looks like a company where systems are simple, connected, reliable, and largely invisible, and where data drives decisions at every level without slowing execution.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in IT leadership roles in industrial services, rental, construction, or asset-heavy environments
• Experience with systems such as RentalMan, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar
• Proven success integrating systems across multi-site operations
• Experience in high-growth or private equity environments preferred
• Strong understanding of field operations, fleet management, and service workflows
