[Hiring] AWS Platform DevSecOps Engineer @CACI International

Role Description

CACI is seeking a Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, automate, secure, and operate the AWS cloud platform capabilities that support a large-scale agile software development and platform modernization program for the GrantSolutions contract. This role is responsible for enabling reliable, repeatable, secure, and compliant software delivery through modern DevSecOps practices.

• Support the Grant Solutions platform modernization effort.
• Build and improve cloud engineering, automation, deployment, security, and operational capabilities.
• Establish and operate AWS-based platform patterns, shared DevSecOps services, pipelines, controls, and automation.
• Support cloud platform engineering, CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, security integration, and operational readiness.
• Deliver a secure and automated engineering platform that integrates with legacy components.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align platform delivery with architecture standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust; candidates must receive approved adjudication before onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and more.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies including Docker.
• Experience managing application deployments and environment configuration.
• Experience implementing platform observability through monitoring and logging.
• Experience with Linux administration and automation using Python or Bash.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Requirements

• Experience integrating security controls into pipelines.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including VPCs and load balancers.
• Ability to create reusable platform patterns and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
