[Hiring] AWS Cloud Administrator @MANTECH

Role Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented AWS Cloud Administrator with an active Security+ certification to join our team. This is a 100% remote opportunity.

• Operate and maintain the Cloud One Zone C AWS GovCloud environment in support of program's legacy Air Force HR systems and nine developer teams.
• Perform daily cloud operations, including networking, backups, monitoring, patching, and cost management.
• Administer the Cloud One Zone C Windows domain and server infrastructure, including Active Directory and Windows servers.
• Operate and maintain the RHEL and Oracle infrastructure that hosts program applications, including operating system upgrades and migrations.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps tooling for the developer applications, and build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage AWS accounts, user access, and resource governance, and provision environments for the developer teams.
• Triage and resolve developer environment issues, work Jira tickets, and handle escalations.
• Support scheduled patching and mission critical tasks beyond normal duty hours.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of systems or cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS administration covering systems operations, site reliability, and cost management.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Current Security+ CE certification (DoD 8140, IAT Level II).

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and government stakeholders, which may involve delivering technical presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
