[Hiring] Underwriter Business Analyst I @Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey

Role Description

Under direct supervision, support for assigned new and renewal accounts, including but not limited to:

• Collecting data
• Account setup
• Rating
• Producing quotes and binders
• Issuing policies and endorsements

Proactively assist in ensuring the underwriting process is handled efficiently and accurately. Provide Underwriters with required reports and analysis. This is an entry-level position responsible for completing routine assignments while developing foundational skills and gaining experience in analysis and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in operational role
• Basic understanding of the healthcare industry preferred
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated teamwork, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills
