Role Description
We're looking for a hands-on Treasury Operations Analyst to own the day-to-day execution of Mercury's cash management and reporting processes. This is an execution- and build-focused role:

Manage cash movements and approvals.

Maintain Treasury's core reporting cadence.

Design and build automated tools and workflows.
We're especially interested in candidates who are fluent with modern AI and prioritize process and reporting automations. If you've automated processes to gain scale and efficiency we want to hear about it.
Qualifications

Prior experience at a fintech, bank, or other regulated financial institution.

2β5 years of experience in treasury operations, corporate treasury, FP&A, or a related finance/accounting function.

High attention to detail.

Strong data modeling skills; comfort with large datasets.

Demonstrated experience transitioning manual processes to scalable automations.

Familiarity with SQL and/or willingness to learn (Snowflake, Omni experience a plus).

Exposure to NetSuite or similar ERP/GL systems a plus.

Strong written communication skills.

Self-starter comfortable in an ambiguous, build-as-you-go environment.

Experience using AI tools to prototype automated processes.
Requirements

Execute and approve daily cash movements across Mercury's accounts.

Maintain daily cash positioning and reporting.

Manage reserve account funding across Mercury's partner bank relationships.

Support cash forecasting by maintaining and refreshing short-term cash flow models.

Own bank account access and rights administration.

Design, build, and maintain automated cash and liquidity reporting.

Build scalable tools for cash positioning, reserve tracking, and reporting workflows.

Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting packages.

Own data pulls and validation from internal systems.

Continuously look for manual, error-prone, or repetitive Treasury processes.

Partner with Accounting to ensure cash activity is properly reflected in the GL.

Work with Data/Analytics teams to acquire cash data feeds from third-party banks.

Support ALCO and management reporting with accurate inputs.

Assist with ad hoc requests from the Treasurer and broader Finance team.

Target new hire base salary ranges for this role:

US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $121,700 β $152,100 USD.

US employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $109,500 β $136,900 USD.

Canadian employees (any location): $115,000 β $143,700 CAD.
