Role Description

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. This position offers flexibility in terms of office location, plus has the option to be fully remote.

• Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment that values exceptional client service and technical excellence.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance functions for ultra-high net worth individuals and their families.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and proper documentation.
• Serve as a primary client contact, delivering proactive tax planning insights and supporting client meetings.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; identify margin risks and implement solutions.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Provide coaching, training, and real-time feedback to staff; support recruiting and onboarding efforts.
• Leverage tax technology, data tools, and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Actively participate in business development efforts, including identifying opportunities and supporting proposals.
• Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specializing in complex technical individual and business returns.
• Recent Public Accounting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field (preferred).
• Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software (preferred).
• Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business (preferred).
