Role Description
The Tax Consultant will partner with the customer to establish & build a relationship for a successful transition to Operations (pre & post go live projects). The role of the Tax Consultant requires knowledge of federal, state, local/city tax requirements to complete the tax set-up within the OSV TaxEx system. The Tax Consultant will be responsible for the data gathering of all pertinent legal & required documentation to ensure the customerβs taxing jurisdictions are set-up accurately & in accordance with authoritative guidelines. The Tax Consultant will be focused on driving & ensuring customer satisfaction on the project. The Tax Consultant will also partner with other OSV internal teams to bridge any gaps for a successful customer transition.
Responsibilities

Engage with customers & deployment partners to understand, define requirements & guide the customer through the implementation process for OSV tax services

Configuring TaxEx application in accordance with customer requirements

Identify and analyze Tax needs and data requirements

Work with customer to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope or delivery of service

Lead the Tax implementation process from start to finish

Consulting with customers on data integrity issues

Conduct check points with customer for timely delivery of tax service & any outstanding project documents

Be comfortable in conducting customer calls in a clear & concise manner

Qualifications
-
Previous experience working with either TaxEx OR Workday, PeopleSoft or other ERP HR/Payroll systems/applications with tax specific configuration experience

3-5 years project management experience with Payroll, Payroll Tax or Financial implementations

Effective Consulting experience

Ability to collaborate with customers to define project expectations and ensure consistency with strategic direction

Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
