[Hiring] Tax Analytics Specialist @OSV

Role Description

The Tax Analytics Specialist works in an outsourcing environment and will be responsible for daily, monthly and quarterly reconciliation of payroll and taxes, processed within all US tax jurisdictions. In this role, you will collect and analyze data to resolve tax discrepancies and balances. If you have 2-3 years of Tax / Payroll experience, then this would be a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve customer tax out-of-balances in a timely manner.
• Process various mathematical calculations to determine how the data will conclude the best solutions.
• Analyze tax/payroll data on the employer and employee level of inspecting.
• Transform the goal of discovery, suggesting conclusions and supporting decision-making.
• Ensure that the appropriate action taken complies with the tax authority requirement.
• Communicate to customers and document the cause of the tax discrepancy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related Payroll and/or tax experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax rules and requirements.
• Use internal data analytics to research and resolve tax discrepancies.
• Ability to respond quickly, independently, and make sound decisions.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Must be able to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred (or 3-years’ experience equivalent).
• Payroll outsourcing and/or Shared Services experience preferred.
