Role Description

We are looking for state tax accounting professionals who have experience with:

• Sales tax registrations
• Payroll tax
• Exemption certificate management

Location is not important as all positions work remotely. However, we only hire in the following states due to increasingly tough labor and tax laws:

• Alabama
• Arizona
• Arkansas
• Indiana
• Kansas
• Kentucky
• Michigan
• Minnesota
• Mississippi
• Missouri
• Oklahoma
• South Carolina
• South Dakota
• Tennessee
• Texas
• Utah
• Virginia
• West Virginia
• Wisconsin
• Wyoming

Qualifications

• At least two years of recent experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience is ideal
• Experience with tax software is a major plus
• Experience with other aspects of state tax is a major plus
• Experience with SOS filings and other tax and/or accounting is a plus

Requirements

• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced high-volume firm

Benefits

• Base salary of $40,000 - $55,000 with additional bonuses
