[Hiring] Staff/Senior Accountant @Payabli

Role Description

We’re hiring a Staff/ Senior Accountant to join our growing team at Payabli. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including:

• Journal entries
• General ledger reconciliations
• Month-end close
• Assisting with audits
• Vendor invoice processing

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience (private accounting with some public accounting experience preferred)
• Highly experienced with Excel and QuickBooks Online
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in QuickBooks
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices
• Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities
• Complete ad hoc accounting-related requests
