[Hiring] Staff Accountant - Accounts Receivable @Evergreen Healthcare Partners

Role Description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts receivable records. This includes managing our billing processes in accordance with our policies and controls and ensuring customers remit payments promptly. Essential functions of the role include:

Salary: $60,000+ depending on experience, in addition to bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or three to five years of related accounting experience
• Proficiency in core enterprise systems (i.e. O365, HubSpot & Workday)
• Aptitude for learning and applying AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies
• High attention to detail, including strong time management, analytical, organizational, and active listening skills

Requirements

• Process and issue invoices and credits to the customer
• Gather and compile necessary documents for client invoicing requirements
• Process payments, communicate with customers, and arrange payment plans
• Maintain records of transactions and perform accounting duties
• Prepare and distribute customer statements on a weekly basis
• Update receivables reporting weekly
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries
• Investigate and resolve client discrepancies and collection issues
• Assist with accounting records and ledgers
• Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations
• Prepare, reconcile, and assist with month-end processes and procedures

Work Hours

Evergreen’s core working hours are 9AM – 5 PM Central Time, and most of our internal meetings take place during this time frame.
