[Hiring] Staff Accountant @Red Project Management

Role Description

Red Project Management is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support financial operations, transaction reporting, reconciliation activities, budgeting support, and internal accounting processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment involving procurement, project management, and financial operations.

• Maintain accurate financial records and transaction documentation
• Perform account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
• Review invoices, procurement records, and payment activity
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Maintain organized accounting files and spreadsheets
• Prepare internal financial summaries and operational reports
• Coordinate with project managers and operations teams regarding financial activities
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Professional communication skills

Requirements

• Degree or background in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• Experience with procurement or operational accounting is a plus
• Familiarity with financial transaction environments is beneficial
• Experience working with startups or remote teams preferred
