[Hiring] Senior Tax Accountant @RES Consultant Group

Role Description

Our client is looking for a Tax Senior to join a public accounting firm that focuses on high-impact tax strategies. In this role, you’ll do more than just process returns—you’ll help business owners implement tax-efficient solutions that protect their wealth.

Tax Review & Prep:

• Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring data is interpreted accurately and reflects the client's strategic goals.
• Able to work more complex tax returns.
• Handle tax engagements from inception to closure.

Advisory & Planning:

• Implement business tax planning solutions and provide proactive advice based on a solid understanding of current tax concepts.
• Ability to provide clients with estimates and tax research.

Team Mentorship:

• Act as a technical resource and supervise less experienced staff, helping them grow through knowledge transfer and guidance.

Client Communication:

• Break down complex technical tax terms into clear, actionable advice that entrepreneurs can actually understand and use.

Qualifications

• Previous public accounting experience is required, specifically working with multiple clients simultaneously.
• EA or CPA designation preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Strong understanding of tax planning and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in the latest tax software is highly preferred.
• You are a strategic thinker who enjoys the "advisory" side of tax and thrives in a 100% virtual team.

Benefits
