Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to lead the financial analysis and decision support that powers SmithRx’s future growth and profitability initiatives. As a direct report to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance, this leader will operate as an athlete - building models, systems, and insights that help SmithRx make decisions with clarity. In partnership with the FP&A team, this role will help integrate financial analysis into the business and support data-driven decision making at scale.
This is a role for someone who is excited to build, move seamlessly between detail and strategy, and serve as a true thought partner to senior leadership. The right person will raise the bar for how we operate and help shape the next chapter of SmithRx’s growth.

Own the Long Range Plan, aligning capital allocation and growth assumptions with the company’s long-term vision.

Build and maintain models to measure and improve unit economics across customers, customer segments, cohorts and channels.

Deliver clear, executive-ready materials for monthly reviews and board discussions that distill data into clear and actionable narratives.

Serve as a key support lead for future fundraising efforts and other strategic projects and initiatives.

Partner with cross functional leaders on scenario modeling and business case development, connecting financial discipline to operational outcomes.

Define and track KPIs and leading indicators of business performance to drive operational improvements.

Contribute to development of differentiated forecasting features or tools for the company and clients.

Partner with GTM teams on pricing strategy and proposals.

Stand up the systems, tooling, and frameworks the Strategic Finance team needs to influence the business, including automation, reporting, and operational rhythms.

Partner closely with the FP&A team to ensure near-term budgets and forecasts are tightly aligned with long-term forecasting.
Qualifications

8+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy & operations, FP&A, or related finance roles with operational experience at a fast-paced, scaling company.

Experience with subscription business models, including an understanding of ARR, revenue, retention, and unit economics.

Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, and R&D teams, with a track record of influencing decisions through insight.

Exceptionally strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch in a high growth, operationally complex environment.

Ability to translate data and analysis into clear narratives for executives, and comfort presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.

Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the judgment to challenge assumptions while maintaining strong relationships.

High level of ownership, curiosity, and urgency, with the ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Healthcare or health tech experience is a plus.
