Role Description

This role is a work from home position and requires residency and maintaining residency in:

As a Home Based Sr. Specialist Fin Products GCS, you’ll provide a Target-branded experience with every guest interaction by:

• Listening, using critical thinking, and advocating for the guest to deepen the relationship and drive loyalty and sales.
• Supporting guests across multiple communication channels—including phone, email, social media, and chat.
• Delivering exceptional service through every interaction.
• Finding creative solutions to make things right for the guest.
• Adapting to changing business needs and contributing valuable business intelligence through accurate documentation and coding.
• Interacting with teams across Target to effectively resolve guest issues in a timely manner.
• Identifying, evaluating, and communicating guest trends to leadership promptly.
• Handling media sensitive or potential legal issues and situations that involve extensive research or partnership with other key Target leaders.
• Responding to a variety of written correspondence and ensuring professionalism in all contacts.
• Maintaining department performance standards and goals related to performance and quality service.
• Working in a multi-media environment that’s challenging and fast-paced, requiring prioritization of work.

Start date: Monday, 08/31/2026

Training schedule: 3 weeks, Monday - Friday (8/31 - 9/18): 1:30pm - 10:00pm CT | 11:30am - 8:00pm MST

Permanent schedule: 32 - 40 hour flex (this means that your schedule can vary between the minimum of working 32 hours per week to the maximum of 40 hours per week. You will know your schedule up to 3 weeks in advance).

Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to their assigned work schedule based on business needs and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of previous guest experience or customer service experience
• Ability to interact with guests, team members, and internal business partners with a professional, friendly, empathetic style
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making skills
• Strong technical skills, ability to work within multiple systems, and high proficiency with PC/Microsoft applications

Requirements

• Reside within the states of Arizona, Minnesota, South Dakota, Texas, or Wisconsin
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Access to a home workspace that is clear of noise distractions
• Hardwired internet in your home location (minimum bandwidth requirement of 40mbps download/5mbps upload)
• Ability to engage via a Target-issued web camera for required meetings, trainings, and/or interactions
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment
• Additional home-based requirements related to workspace setup and equipment usage
