[Hiring] Senior Revenue Analyst @Danaher

Role Description

The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for reviewing capital placement agreements and determining the appropriate lease classification in accordance with ASC 842 and the Danaher policies. The analyst further evaluates non-standard terms and conditions in customer orders and contracts to develop technically sound revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606. Additional responsibilities include performing accounting for distribution rebates and chargebacks and providing technical support for revenue-related month-end close activities and audit requests.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and is part of the Revenue & Technical Accounting team in Sunnyvale and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop advanced expertise in ASC 842: Lease accounting standards and apply this knowledge to support accurate and compliant revenue and lease reporting.
• Review capital placement agreements to determine appropriate lease classification (operating vs. sales-type) in accordance with ASC 842 guidance.
• Analyze non-standard terms and conditions in customer orders and contracts, forming well-supported revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606.
• Lead and support automation initiatives aimed at optimizing and streamlining day-to-day revenue operations processes.
• Deepen functional knowledge of SAP’s Quote-to-Cash (“QTC”) and the Revenue Accounting and Reporting (“RAR”) module, contributing to system accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including strong hands-on knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proven aptitude for quickly learning new concepts and accounting guidance, including evolving standards and technical literature.

• Ability to travel – approximately 5% travel.
