Role Description
The Sr. Recordkeeper provides administrative and client service support to large and complex defined contribution retirement plan clients. This role serves as a key resource for plan administration, trust reconciliation, client reporting, and issue resolution while also supporting and mentoring less experienced recordkeepers.
Contributions You’ll Make

Train, coach, and mentor lower-level recordkeepers to support team effectiveness and service excellence.

Respond to client requests for information in a timely and professional manner.

Resolve client administrative and service-related issues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with company and client standards.

Process plan valuation transactions, including contributions, loans, withdrawals, earnings allocations, and data loads.

Perform and analyze required defined contribution plan testing and plan design analyses, including discrimination testing.

Request, interpret, and analyze plan data, present findings to clients, and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Reconcile trust accounting and recordkeeping systems at the plan level.

Reconcile plan balances to trust balances through daily balancing activities, adjustment analysis, reconciliation reporting, and transaction-level review.

Coordinate omnibus fund purchases and sales with third-party fund companies.

Prepare and distribute client deliverables, including valuation reports, participant statements, investment performance reports, and required tax and compliance filings.

Participate in client meetings and conference calls and maintain strong trustee relationships.

Consult with clients regarding plan design, trust reconciliation matters, payroll administration, and related services.

Support corporate payroll-related activities and special projects as assigned.

Complete daily payroll tracking and related reporting activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred. High School Diploma/GED +2 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

3+ years of client service experience.

Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and incorporate new information into project plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience supporting defined contribution retirement plans.

Knowledge of trust reconciliation, retirement plan administration, and payroll-related processes.

Experience working directly with plan sponsors, trustees, and third-party providers.

Compensation Pay Disclosure
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
