[Hiring] Senior Principal Consultant, Transactional Due Diligence @SLR Consulting

Role Description

As our new Senior Principal Consultant , you will play an important role in managing and growing our team of EHS professionals and our base of M&A clients throughout the Americas and Globally.

• Manage service projects for a broad industrial client base.
• Mentor rising talent by providing technical oversight and leadership that fosters a culture of growth and excellence.
• Preferred locations include Texas, Illinois, Atlanta, New York, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Geology, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience working at a high-level with corporate and/or financial and legal clients.
• Experience performing, managing, and reviewing Environmental Health and Safety Assessments for a variety of clients.
• Experience in proposal preparation, budgeting, and scoping of due diligence related work.
• Active clients and expertise in client management and internal staff management.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong, relevant employment background and a passion for environmental work.
• Experience evaluating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) programs and initiatives.
• Knowledge of transaction related documents and environmental insurance policies.
• Experience in managing various levels of consulting staff.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn and grow as a consultant.
• Ability to interface with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, uncertain, high-pressure environment.
• Capabilities and experience with regulators, including negotiations related to client work objectives, a plus.
