[Hiring] Senior Pricing Analyst @Ping Identity

Role Description

This role will play a key part in shaping packaging design, pricing strategy, and pricing analytics to improve monetization and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a broad range of responsibilities. They will work closely across functions to ensure alignment and effective execution of pricing initiatives.

This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Pricing and Packaging. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong analytical mindset to build or hone their pricing expertise and drive meaningful impact to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing and Packaging: Analyze customer, product, competitive, and financial data to support subscription, usage-based, tiered, and bundled pricing strategies.
• Pricing Analytics: Build and automate dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks; track performance and identify actionable insights.
• Pricing Proposal and Execution: Support pricing proposals and new offering launches by coordinating requirements, timelines, data validation, stakeholder reviews, and post-launch monitoring for packaging and pricing changes.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and monetization opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Enablement, and Business Operations to communicate recommendations and ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in pricing, business analytics, finance, economics, strategy, or management consulting.
• Experience with SaaS pricing models and frameworks, including subscription, usage-based, and tiered structures.
• Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills, with the ability to distill complex datasets into strategic insights.
• Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Requirements

• Salary Range: $68,000 - $95,000.
• In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085), the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
