[Hiring] Senior Pricing Analyst @Impiricus

Role Description

The Senior Pricing Analyst owns the systems, data, and quantitative backbone of Impiricus's pricing function, and owns day-to-day pricing quote support for the Ascend business. This role is the final point of accountability for the pricing platform (DealHub) as new business models go live, and for the integrity of pricing data across our CRM and finance reporting.

This role combines hands-on ownership of day-to-day deal support including quote strategy, deal history, and pricing on individual deals with systems and analytics ownership across the pricing function, translating pricing strategy into scalable systems, dynamic pricing logic, and the dashboards the commercial org runs on every day. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to set the standard for how pricing systems, data, and deal support are administered, not simply execute against someone else's specification.

Responsibilities

• Deal Support:
  • Own day-to-day pricing support on individual deals, including dedicated research into the history and terms of prior deals to inform quoting.
  • Own quote strategy and quote requests, communicating clearly with sales, deal desk, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Support structuring and defending non-standard deal terms, and support review of strategic or large deals led by the Pricing Lead.
• Dynamic & Inventory-Based Pricing:
  • Own the analysis of supply and demand by therapeutic area and launch stage to set and continuously adjust pricing.
  • Build, own, and maintain inventory-based dynamic pricing models.
• DealHub & Pricing Systems Ownership:
  • Serve as the company's subject-matter expert for DealHub (Impiricus's CPQ platform); own platform administration and track usage across the sales organization.
  • Translate new business-model logic into DealHub configuration and push changes live as models evolve.
  • Train sellers on DealHub, track and resolve platform issues, and drive continuous improvement of the system as the single source of truth for pricing.
• Cross-Product Pricing Analysis & Reporting:
  • Execute cross-product pricing analyses and pricing optimization initiatives in support of the Pricing Lead and Pricing Strategy Manager.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance pricing KPI dashboards (average discount, price realization, margin by segment, approval cycle time, floor-price compliance).
  • Run recurring analysis of existing product pricing performance across Ascend, Pulse, and Spark and surface findings that inform strategy.
• Pricing Operations & Data Integrity:
  • Own HubSpot/CRM data cleanliness and hygiene for all pricing-related fields and deal data.
  • Support finance reporting and other ad hoc operational requests as the pricing function's operational backbone.
• Pricing Governance Support:
  • Help enforce pricing adherence in proposals, SOWs, and contracts.
  • Support tactical governance, including approval workflows, discount rules, and deal review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative, business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of direct experience in pricing, monetization, or related roles, ideally supporting or structuring enterprise deal pricing and quoting in a deal desk or sales-facing pricing capacity; OR strong analytical experience with demonstrated ability to partner effectively with sales teams, even without direct pricing experience.
• Demonstrated, hands-on ownership of a CPQ or pricing platform supporting a multi-million dollar book of business, configuring pricing logic, training end users, and driving adoption.
• Strong quantitative background with direct experience building supply-and-demand or inventory-based dynamic pricing models.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience owning CRM data hygiene.
• Track record operating autonomously as the final point of accountability for pricing systems and data - setting standards, not just following them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to train sales teams directly and translate technical pricing logic for non-technical, cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• The base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000.
