Role Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team. The Senior Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in developing pricing strategies for competitive bids and proposals, particularly in federal government contracting. This position requires strong analytical skills, an in-depth understanding of cost structures, and the ability to develop competitive and compliant pricing models. This role will also be responsible for various functions including data analysis, financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities

Pricing Analysis
-
Develop compliant cost models and effective pricing strategies for proposals by collaborating with various departments.

Research and track competitor pricing and market trends, analyzing the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth rates.

Develop price-to-win goals and provide input for competitive direct/indirect rates.

Ensure final cost proposals comply with governmental regulations and corporate policies.

Develop Cost Strategy Plan and ensure approval from leadership and assigned capture manager.

Certify to executive leadership that cost proposal is in full compliance with RFP and organization's costing procedures.

Develop proposals pricing for various programs in compliance with proposed technical solutions.

Build cost models and develop basis of proposal estimate working with various teams.

Identify areas of continuous improvement for pricing strategies and present pricing models.

Coordinate competitive analysis and research of primary competitors for high priority projects.

Develop and brief PTW analysis supporting Best Value and Low Price Technically Acceptable Competitions.

Provide assessments of competitor actions/strategies and their impact on high priority pursuits.

Cost Variance & Performance Tracking

Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.

Analyze project profitability, labor rates, and cash flow forecasting.

Conduct monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis.

Calculate, track, and update Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) models.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance function.

Indirect Rate & Cost Pool Management

Model and evaluate indirect cost pools to evaluate structural profitability.
-
Monitor actual indirect expense absorption against target rates.

Prepare annual Incurred Cost Electronically (ICE) submissions.

Subcontractor & Vendor Financial Oversight

Review and evaluate subcontractor price proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

Monitor subcontractor invoice burn rates against purchase order ceilings.

Corporate Forecasting & Profitability Analysis
-
Perform scenario-based financial modeling and sensitivity analyses.

Track pipeline win probability against projected resource allocation.
-
Conduct post-award financial autopsies comparing original proposal pricing models against actual execution costs.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures.
Qualifications
-
Full life cycle RFP/Task Order response knowledge.

Knowledge of all Contract Types (e.g., FFP, FFP LOE, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, T&M, etc.).

Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.

Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.

Knowledgeable in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel in developing and manipulating formulas.

Track record of submitting compliant pricing proposals.
-
Negotiating with subcontractors during pricing proposal development.

Flexible, independent, and reliable, with strong attention to detail.

Possess innovative writing skills.
Requirements

Bachelorβs degree and 6 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or masterβs degree with 4 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Previous experience with pricing and proposal writing in government contracting environment.

Experience working with the Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
-
Research market trends and develop competitive pricing strategies for proposals.
-
Supervisory role in previous experience.
-
US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications such as Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).

Experience with large multi-million dollar proposals.

Experience using VENA Solutions software strongly preferred.
-
Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs).
Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $112,700-$150,000 annually.
