Role Description
We're looking for a Senior Manager to join our FP&A team as a strategic business partner to our Product and Engineering leaders. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of finance and technology, one that combines rigorous financial analysis with genuine influence over how Pantheon invests in its future.
You'll own infrastructure spend analysis, ProdEng productivity modeling, and our R&D investment profiles, while serving as a trusted thought partner to technical leaders. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role offers a clear path to broader strategic ownership as Pantheon continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities

Deep Partner with Product & Engineering on Strategic Investment Decisions

Be the trusted financial business partner in R&D conversations.

Lead ROI analyses on capital allocation, product opportunity sizing.

Present a finance POV on location strategy and staffing for our roadmap timelines.

Translate complex data into clear recommendations for confident investment decisions.

Own Infrastructure Finance End-to-End

Develop a deep technical and financial understanding of Pantheon's infrastructure stack.

Build the budgets, track efficiency, and surface insights for cost management.

Build and Scale Our Financial Planning Systems

Partner with FP&A and Systems teams to design and implement a next-generation financial forecasting tool.

Lead the effort to automate and scale our systems, incorporating AI-driven capabilities.

Drive further AI adoption within our Finance org and Pantheon.

Drive Efficiency Across Core Finance Processes

Identify and execute on opportunities to improve speed and accuracy across FP&A and Accounting.

Apply automation and AI to enhance processes like month-end close and cash management.

Contribute to Board and Investor Narratives

Collaborate with Finance and R&D leaders on board materials and investor analyses.

Provide the R&D lens covering Gross Margin, infrastructure spend, product investments, and TAM.
Qualifications

8β10 years of finance experience with a business partnering focus (FP&A, Investment Banking, or Strategy Consulting).

Proven track record working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering in a technology-driven environment.

Comfort navigating complex, ambiguous and large data β and a talent for turning it into a clear story.
