Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for our Client Accounting Services Department to join our team. You will oversee and manage the accounting needs of our business, high-net-worth, family office clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and client services, as well as the ability to manage a team and interact directly with clients.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a controller or client accounting services position.

Proven experience in accounting and financial management.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial standards.

A bachelorβs degree in accounting, finance, or economics is required.

CPA Certification or CPA in progress.

MBA or MST Degree.
Requirements

Generate new prospects and networking opportunities.

Develop and maintain client relationships, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Establish, monitor, and enforce a comprehensive set of internal controls and develop policies and procedures regarding accounting and financial-related issues.

Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle, including all relevant journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and associated reporting requirements.

Establish GAAP accounting standards and procedures.

Review financial reports and statements to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy in reporting.

Prepare various monthly and annual corporate financial reports for clients, including consolidated financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, cash-flow statements, etc.

Support cross-functional accounting and finance systems implementation integrations.

Lead and guide staff through mentorship and assistance.
