[Hiring] Senior Lending Transaction Associate @PNC

Role Description

As a Lending Transaction Associate Sr, within PNC's EF Documentation Direct organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial loan and lease transactions from documentation through closing and post-closing, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Review approved transaction structures and prepare complex financing documentation.
• Coordinate closely with internal business partners, customers, vendors, legal counsel, and other external parties to facilitate timely execution and funding.
• Proactively monitor transaction pipelines to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met.
• Identify and resolve documentation issues, exceptions, and potential risks, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Oversee document execution, validate funding readiness, and complete closing and post-closing activities.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and systems, ensuring all required documentation is obtained and properly retained.
• Support operational excellence through process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training and mentoring less experienced team members.
• Deliver a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate should be comfortable managing multiple transactions and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, reviewing detailed documentation with a high degree of accuracy, and collaborating effectively with a broad range of internal and external partners.

Requirements

• University/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience.
• Standard computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.
• Prior commercial lending, equipment finance, loan documentation, leasing, banking operations, or similar transaction-processing experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial lending and equipment finance platforms such as ACBS, LeaseWave, NextGen, CapitalStream, DocuSign, or comparable systems preferred.
