Role Description

You Will:

• Financial Analysis, Business Metrics and Unit Economics:
  • Develop financial models that connect technology costs to relevant business and operational metrics.
  • Partner with various teams to identify appropriate cost drivers for each workload.
  • Develop and maintain metrics such as cost per imaging study, cost per site, and others.
  • Analyze technology costs scaling with business growth and identify changes in cost efficiency.
  • Normalize costs against business volume for consistent comparisons.
• Infrastructure Economics and Workload Placement:
  • Develop total cost of ownership and scenario models for various deployment models.
  • Model hardware acquisition and refresh cycles, maintenance, and support.
  • Partner with teams to quantify financial tradeoffs of workload decisions.
  • Maintain reusable models for leadership to evaluate multiple scenarios.
  • Track one-time transition costs separately from ongoing costs.
• Budgeting, Forecasting and Leadership Reporting:
  • Develop driver-based forecasts connecting technology spend to business drivers.
  • Prepare budget-to-actual and forecast variance analysis.
  • Support annual budget cycles and financial reporting.
  • Create concise reporting for Finance and leadership.
  • Build scenario models for various business opportunities.
  • Work with IT Financial Ops Manager to integrate Cloud reporting.
• FinOps Operating Model, Governance and Tooling:
  • Partner with existing teams to mature a shared FinOps operating model.
  • Participate in a recurring cross-functional FinOps committee.
  • Use and mature existing capabilities for cost management.
  • Partner with technical teams to improve cost governance.
  • Support ongoing work with the Google Cloud FinOps practice.
  • Develop FinOps KPIs and maturity measures.
• Cloud Cost Analysis and Optimization Partnership:
  • Monitor and report on Google Cloud consumption and spend.
  • Identify and prioritize optimization opportunities.
  • Work with teams to validate optimization opportunities.
  • Measure and report realized savings and cost avoidance.
  • Maintain showback and chargeback models.
• Platform, Product and Data Economics:
  • Model cost and capacity implications of data platforms.
  • Develop cost-to-serve analysis for internal and customer-facing products.
  • Partner with teams to forecast platform cost changes.
  • Support product and pricing discussions with financial models.
• Vendor, Contract and Investment Analysis:
  • Analyze Google Cloud agreement terms and support negotiation cycles.
  • Support business cases for various technology investments.
  • Reconcile vendor and billing data with Finance.
• Cross Functional Partnership:
  • Serve as a financial translation layer between technical teams and Finance.
  • Work closely with various teams across shared priorities.
  • Translate technical decisions into clear financial narratives.
  • Support audit and compliance needs related to technology spend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in IT financial analysis, FinOps, technology business management, or cloud cost management.
• Demonstrated experience developing financial models and budget variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience analyzing cloud billing and consumption data, preferably in Google Cloud.
• Advanced Excel or equivalent financial-modeling skills and SQL proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across technical, financial, product, and operational teams.
• Experience in healthcare IT or health technology SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with RIS/PACS, DICOM workflows, and medical imaging requirements.
• Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant product cost modeling.
• Experience with CloudZero, Google Cloud Billing, BigQuery, Looker or comparable platforms.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner or comparable certification.
• Analytical rigor and disciplined management of assumptions and data quality.

• Pay Range: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year.
