[Hiring] Senior GL Accountant @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

The Senior GL Accountant position is based at Beckman Coulter Eurocenter SA, Switzerland and reports to the Accounting Manager. If you thrive in an amazing, multifunctional role and want to work in a performance-oriented Finance Organization, this role includes the following key responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close, including preparation and review of balance sheet analysis and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of US GAAP and Statutory Financial Statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT filing to local authorities.
• Provide accurate and timely compliance activities as well as information for the preparation of direct and indirect Tax related filing to local authorities and transfer pricing policy.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of required statistics to local authorities.
• Support all kinds of internal/external audits.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in accounting Shared Service Center and accounting experience within a multinational corporation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP. Experience in other European local GAAP, VAT or tax matters will be appreciated.
• Excellent English and French communication skills. Other additional European languages will be a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel.
