Role Description
As a Senior Customer Finance Analyst at Prompt, you will be a key driver of scalability within our finance department. Reporting to the Customer Finance Lead, you will go beyond day-to-day transaction management to lead process optimization and automation initiatives. You will act as a subject matter expert, using your high attention to detail and analytical mindset to solve complex billing logic issues and ensure our financial operations are built for rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Operations & Advanced Invoicing:

Oversee the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring 100% accuracy in complex billing cycles and compliance with bespoke customer agreements.

Identify bottlenecks in the billing workflow and partner with the Finance Lead to design and implement automated solutions within NetSuite/QuickBooks.

Perform root-cause analysis on recurring billing discrepancies and implement permanent process fixes while communicating with leadership on the context of the issues.

Scalable Customer Onboarding:

Audit and validate customer agreements to ensure financial data integrity before account creation.

Create customer accounts and process sensitive financial data accurately.

Identify bottlenecks in the customer creation workflow and partner with the Finance Lead to design and implement automated solutions within NetSuite/QuickBooks and other software such as HubSpot, SpotDraft, etc.

Strategic Customer Support & Problem Solving:

Manage high-priority or complex customer financial inquiries, translating technical issues into clear, professional communication.

Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to resolve structural billing hurdles for clients.

Systems & Data Management:

Maintain the integrity of the customer master data, ensuring clean reporting for Senior Management.

Support the Customer Finance Lead in ad-hoc projects, including ERP migrations, system integrations (AP/AR tools), and the creation of standardized training documentation for future team growth.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Revenue Operations (senior-level ownership expected).

Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks.

Expert Excel/Google Sheets skills - must be comfortable with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling to identify trends or errors.

A proven track record of taking a manual process and developing as well as executing a better process through automation or workflow redesign.

An obsession with accuracy; you are the person who catches the $0.01 discrepancy before it becomes a client issue.

Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
