Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join our team. You will serve as a subject matter expert in cost estimation, financial review, and analytical strategy for complex government acquisitions. You will perform rigorous cost and price analyses on proposals, certified pricing data, and financial statements to ensure that final negotiated prices are fair, reasonable, and realistic.

• Cost Estimation and Modeling:
  • Developing and assisting with accurate cost estimates and sophisticated cost modeling.
  • Evaluating individual cost elements using certified cost or pricing data.
• Fair and Reasonable Price Determination (Cost Realism):
  • Executing comprehensive cost and price analyses to verify that the final agreed-to price is fair and reasonable.
  • Evaluating data other than certified cost or pricing data to establish cost reasonableness and cost realism when standard price analysis is insufficient.
• Proposal and Financial Evaluation:
  • Providing subject matter expertise to meticulously review cost volumes, technical approaches, and corporate financial statements.
  • Applying advanced proposal analysis techniques to validate proposed pricing structures against the technical approach.
• Acquisition Strategy and Analytical Methodology:
  • Recommending, selecting, and employing appropriate analytical techniques and procedures tailored to the specific complexity and circumstances of each acquisition.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to guide the overall financial and pricing evaluation strategy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess a DoD Secret clearance
