Role Description

Aon is looking for a Senior Casualty Claims Consultant! We currently have a great career opportunity for a Casualty Claims Risk Consultant. It is the responsibility of the Casualty Claims Risk Consultant to deliver tactical, client specific, casualty claims services on assigned accounts in support of Aon’s core brokerage services. This position is for a workers’ compensation professional; however, experience with auto and general liability is a plus.

Work Style: This role is primarily remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in Virtual NJ. We’re also open to considering fully remote arrangements from other locations.

The general role of our Casualty Claims Risk Consultant is to:

• Identify client exposures and provide customized casualty consulting services for clients to help them reduce their Total Cost of Risk.
• Ensure the highest level of service from claims administrator(s) and carrier partners.
• Improve client claim outcomes by examining and analyzing key elements and related costs of their claims programs and build best practice-oriented approaches to claims cost containment.
• Introduce appropriate Aon resources and provide project management to ensure commitments are met and results are achieved.
• Establish project plans and budgets.
• May require limited involvement in business development opportunities as dictated by geographic needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in workers’ compensation claims management, with knowledge of casualty lines including auto and general liability.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, advocate for clients, and collaborate effectively with clients, carriers, TPAs, Account Executives, and internal partners.
• Experience developing and executing strategic service plans, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality consulting services on time and in alignment with client objectives.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate claims data, identify trends, conduct claim reviews, and recommend strategies that improve claim outcomes and reduce total cost of risk.
• Proven project management and process improvement capabilities, including managing multiple priorities, documenting action plans, applying best practices, and driving consistent service delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Proven performer with strong technical knowledge and work experience adjusting or managing workers compensation claims or possess multi-line claims experience with emphasis on casualty lines of coverage.
• Retain proficiency as an insurance professional while maintaining clear and effective communication, both in writing and verbally.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Producer/Broker licensing may be required after hiring.
