Role Description

This is a remote position.

BooksTime is a fast-growing, US-based accounting company with offices in Ukraine, the Philippines, and the UAE. We are continually expanding our global presence and proudly providing services to over 500 clients (the majority based in the United States), and collaborating closely with a number of U.S.-based CPAs. We specialize in delivering tailored accounting outsourcing services for small and medium-sized businesses. Our team excels in working with international accounting systems, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals eager to grow their expertise in global accounting practices.

• Engage in managerial accounting and financial reporting for business owners.
• Gain exposure to a diverse range of industries: manufacturing, trading, services, and more.
• Take full ownership of client accounts, from daily transactions to financial analysis.
• Work with modern accounting tools: QuickBooks, Xero, Bill.com, Sage, and others.
• Improve your English skills by working exclusively with English-speaking clients and systems.
• Be part of a collaborative team with guidance from experienced managers in Ukraine and the USA.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy or similar course.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Minimum 3 years of end-to-end accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience working with clients directly, familiarity with US GAAP, and SMEs.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Requirements

• Experience in a multicultural work environment (preferred).
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Proficiency or certification in QuickBooks / Xero (preferred).
• Experience with 3rd-party applications such as Gusto, Bill.com, Stripe, etc. (preferred).
