Role Description
This is a remote position.
A Senior Associate leads small teams of associates, takes charge of overall client delivery for assigned portfolios, and produces management reports. S1 typically manages teams of 2β3 on standard clients; S2 handles complex clients with non-standard requirements and reviews advanced reports and dashboards. This JD covers both sub levels; differences are noted in the Performance Expectations section.
Key Responsibilities

Small Team Leadership

Manage teams of 2β3 associates (S1) or larger groups across complex clients (S2).

Allocate work, set deadlines, and monitor delivery across the team.

Hold regular team check-ins; address performance and delivery issues promptly.

Client Delivery Accountability
-
Take charge of overall delivery for assigned clients β accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Own month-end close, management reporting, and ad-hoc client deliverables.
-
Ensure quality controls are applied at every review stage.

Management Reporting
-
Produce management reports, dashboards, and basic financial analysis (S1).
-
Review advanced reports, consolidated outputs, and complex client deliverables (S2).

Prepare reports for AM/Manager review; refine based on feedback.

Complex Client Handling (S2)
-
Take ownership of clients with non-standard requirements, complex group structures, or specialised reporting needs.

Apply technical accounting judgement; escalate genuinely contentious matters to AM/Manager.

Coaching & Development
-
Coach Associates and Experienced Associates on technical and process matters.
-
Identify capability gaps in the team and address them through training, mentoring, or process change.

Provide input to AM/Manager on team appraisals.

Process & Quality Improvement
-
Identify process inefficiencies; propose and implement improvements (subject to AM/Manager approval).

Maintain SOPs for assigned client work; ensure team adherence.

Drive consistent application of LDGERS quality standards across the team.

Client Communication

Manage day-to-day client communication for delivery matters.
-
Escalate commercial, sensitive, or strategic client matters to AM/Manager.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.

S1: 3.5β4.5 years of relevant experience; S2: 4.5β6 years.

Strong technical accounting depth, including consolidation, complex reconciliation, and management reporting.

Proven experience leading a small team and managing delivery timelines.
