Role Description
Community Housing Partners (CHP) is looking for an experienced Senior Asset Manager to lead portfolio strategy, financial performance, capital planning, and long-term asset health across our multifamily housing portfolio. This is a highly strategic and operationally influential role for someone who can see both the big picture and the drivers behind portfolio performance. You'll help guide capital investments, influence operational outcomes, manage portfolio risk, support preservation initiatives, and partner with leaders across CHP to improve the long-term health of affordable housing communities.
This position may be performed remotely, subject to supervisor approval, with periodic property visits, fieldwork, and in-person meetings as needed.
Qualifications

Advanced financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and scenario-planning skills.

Strong knowledge of multifamily operations, property performance metrics, and lifecycle planning.

Deep understanding of affordable housing programs, subsidy structures, financing, and compliance requirements.

Ability to interpret complex financial, legal, regulatory, and capital planning documents, including CNAs.

Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to turn complex or incomplete information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive results.
Requirements

Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

8β10+ years of progressively responsible experience in asset management, multifamily real estate, property management, finance, or a related field.

Affordable housing experience strongly preferred.

Certifications such as CHAM, CPM, HCCP, or equivalent are preferred.
