Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, highly experienced Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Department. The Senior AR Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of full-charge client billing and reporting aspects. This is a great opportunity to have more autonomy and work independently. This role reports directly to the FP&A Manager and is responsible for providing outstanding service to Second Sightβs personnel and clients. The qualified candidate must be flexible, attentive to detail, highly committed to exceptional quality and accuracy, teamwork, and supporting organizational and department goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reviewing client contracts and independently setting up new projects in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Workday) and our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Monday.com).

Creating billing schedules based on contract details and communicating installments to the accounting team.

Independently implements the billing schedule to generate invoices while exercising judgment in addressing any billing exceptions or nuances.

Contacting clients regarding collections when necessary.

Make informed decisions on billing timing, adjustments, and issue resolution based on financial impact and contractual requirements.

Partner with our Market Development Team to validate client contracts, resolve discrepancies, and align on billing outcomes.

Maintain our ERP and CRM tools as contracts are signed, expire, and/or are renewed.

Follow through, tracking, and reporting of multiple assignments and progress.

WIP Analysis, tracking, and reporting.

Assist as needed in guiding and supporting other Accounts Receivable staff once trained and qualified.
Qualifications

3-5 years of full-charge billing experience.

Ability to accurately interpret contract financial details to create billing and revenue recognition schedules.

Experience gained in a professional services, law firm, financial services or industry that requires excellent client service.

Proven experience in developing relationships with senior stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, organized and with the ability to think critically.

Strong skillsets in MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

ERP experience (preferably Workday).

CRM experience (preferably Monday.com).

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Ability to juggle/manage multiple tasks/projects and competing requirements, often under strict deadlines.

Committed to high quality customer service (internal and external).

Consistent attendance and reliability.

E-billing experience is highly preferred.

Bachelorβs degree preferred but not essential.
Requirements

This is a remote role, with the option to occasionally work in the office if in DC or NY.

Minimal travel required approximately 1-2 times per year.

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000.
