Role Description

The Joint Venture (JV) Senior Accountant is a key member of the Franciscan Joint Venture Accounting team. This position will support the JV Accounting Manager with accounting and reporting for joint ventures and partnerships. The JV Senior will assist with preparation of and support of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting package compilations. This role will work with the COE to prepare any associated operating and capital budgets, and financial forecasts.

• Participate in year-end closing and prepare financial statements.
• Perform account analysis and maintain general ledger for joint venture and partnerships.
• Perform accruals for joint ventures and partnerships.
• Analyze joint venture and partnership expenses, to determine appropriate cost centers.
• Ascertain whether company assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded from loss.
• Prepare external reporting schedules, financial statements, and statutory reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related - Required
• 5 years Accounting - Required
• 1 year Healthcare - Preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - State Licensing Board - Preferred

• Job Range: Sr Accountant Joint Venture $68,467.24 - $94,142.46
