[Hiring] Senior Accountant @Banner Health

Role Description

The Senior Accountant responsibilities will include:

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations
• Month End Close
• Financial reporting to state regulators
• Working with External Auditors
• Review of Income Statement and balance sheet
• Working with finance counterparts

Systems frequently used: Lawson, Excel, Blackline

Previous Health Insurance Accounting experience highly preferred.

Scheduled: Monday - Friday Days AZ Time

This can be a remote position if you live in the following states only: AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, GA, FL, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MN, MS, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, NE, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WA, & WY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in health care finance including demonstrated abilities in financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills.
• Knowledgeable in computer applications and office desktop software.
• Excellent human relations, organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects.
• Use sophisticated software programs.
