[Hiring] Senior Accountant @TalentBridge

Role Description

TalentBridge is partnering with an established, growing organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of key general ledger accounts, support month-end close activities, and contribute to accurate financial reporting within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate accounting, excellent reconciliation skills, and a thorough understanding of GAAP. We are seeking someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable independently managing accounting responsibilities while partnering with cross-functional teams.

• Own assigned general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Analyze financial data, account activity, and variances to ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain detailed accounting workpapers and documentation in accordance with internal controls and company policies.
• Assist with financial reporting, audit requests, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to address accounting questions and support business needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiencies, and reporting accuracy.
• Support additional accounting projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, debits and credits, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet account analysis.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle or Oracle Cloud.
• CPA designation or actively pursuing certification.
• Exposure to SOX compliance, internal controls, or audit support.
• Experience in a multi-entity or complex corporate accounting environment.
