Join AAFCPAs as a Senior Accountant in Audit and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. We are seeking an experienced audit professional with strong affordable housing audit experience. Manage multifaceted and complex assignments for a variety of clients and businesses.

Lead audit engagement teams with an emphasis on clear communication, collaboration, and flexibility.

Ensure deliverables are provided at agreed upon timelines.
Qualifications
-
BS/BA degree - concentration in Accounting and active pursuit of CPA.

3+ years of auditing experience with a public accounting firm.

Ability to work independently on assignments and address issues or questions with the client, engagement Manager or Partner.

Strong time management, organizational abilities, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with Engagement and Pro F/X is a plus.

Experience with multi-service community development corporations (CDCs) or Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) with Uniform Guidance reporting requirements preferred.

Specialized experience in Federal Tax Credit Incentive Programs is highly preferred, including:

Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)

New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC)

Historic Tax Credit (HTC)

Solar Investment Tax Credits (ITC)

LIHTC and partnership tax experience is a plus.

Salary range for this role is $89,000 โ $104,000 per year, not inclusive of bonus potential.
