Role Description
Remix Medical is hiring a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting end-to-end, working remotely from India on an evening IST schedule that overlaps with US Central Time mornings. You will partner directly with US-based practice leadership and our external CPA — a real seat with real ownership, not a queue-clearing role.
You will run our financial close cycle, manage AP and AR end-to-end in NetSuite, prepare monthly financial statements, and serve as our in-country owner of accounting operations. This role suits a strong senior bookkeeper or staff/senior accountant who is genuinely fluent in NetSuite, has worked directly with US-based companies, and understands US GAAP fundamentals.
What You’ll Own
-
Maintain the general ledger in NetSuite — accurate, timely, and consistent coding.
-
Process accounts payable end-to-end: vendor bills, approvals, payment runs, and vendor statement reconciliations.
-
Manage accounts receivable: post payments, apply credits, follow up on aged AR, and reconcile to source systems.
-
Perform weekly and monthly bank, credit card, and merchant account reconciliations.
-
Record payroll journal entries from the US payroll provider and reconcile related GL accounts.
-
Support full month-end close: accruals, prepaids, depreciation, intercompany entries, and account reconciliations.
-
Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements with variance commentary.
-
Coordinate with the US CPA on year-end close, 1099 prep, and tax filings.
-
Support audit, lender, and owner reporting requests.
-
Identify and implement improvements to NetSuite workflows, saved searches, and reporting.
Qualifications
-
Recent, hands-on NetSuite expertise — GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, saved searches, and standard NetSuite reporting.
-
Minimum 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience.
-
Direct US client experience.
-
Working knowledge of US GAAP fundamentals.
-
Strong written and spoken English; able to communicate directly with US-based stakeholders.
-
Reliable home office with stable internet, a quiet workspace, and a personal computer suitable for cloud-based finance applications.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
-
CA Inter, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or similar accounting credential.
-
Healthcare experience strongly preferred — prior bookkeeping or accounting for a US medical, dental, or other healthcare practice, including patient AR, insurance receivables, refunds, and practice management software.
-
Experience with US payroll providers such as ADP, Gusto, or Paychex.
-
Experience with AP automation tools such as Bill.com, Ramp, or Brex integrated with NetSuite.
-
SuiteAnalytics, advanced saved searches, or light NetSuite administration.
-
Prior experience working with US-based finance teams on a remote or contractor basis.
What You’ll Bring
-
High accuracy and strong attention to detail in financial records.
-
Comfort owning recurring close cycles without daily supervision.
-
Clear, proactive written communication, including timely status updates.
-
Discretion when handling sensitive financial and patient-related information.
-
Bias toward fixing the upstream issue, not just clearing the work item in front of you.
Schedule, Location, and Compensation
-
Full-time, fully remote from India. Candidate must be based in New Delhi (NCR) or Pune.
-
Working hours: evening IST with partial overlap into US Central Time mornings. No overnight shift.
-
CTC: ₹13,00,000–₹17,00,000 per annum, based on experience, NetSuite depth, US client tenure, and healthcare exposure.
-
Group health insurance for employee and family, equipment allowance, internet/WFH stipend, performance bonus, and statutory benefits as per Indian labor law.
-
Direct working relationship with a US-based practice — not a BPO sub-account.
How to Apply
Submit your resume along with a short note (3–5 sentences) covering:
-
How long you have used NetSuite hands-on, and in what capacity (specify modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.).
-
The US companies you have directly supported, including your role and tenure with each.
-
Any healthcare, medical practice, or healthcare RCM experience.
-
Your current location (New Delhi/NCR or Pune) and your current/most recent CTC.
