[Hiring] Senior Accountant @System Six

Role Description

We are actively seeking our next Senior Accountant, a joyful and driven team member responsible for day-to-day accounting and finance tasks for clients in our Enterprise division.

• Handle day-to-day operations for clients (transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)
• Organize daily tasks in Karbon, our practice management system
• Interact with clients to answer specific questions or seek information
• Ask questions of your team when uncertain about tasks

Qualifications

• Accounting and payroll experience in a multi-client environment with US-based clients
• College degree required
• CPA/CAS firm experience is a strong plus
• Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies with at least 2 years running payroll, paying bills, and handling all day-to-day transactional duties with US-based clients
• Experience with software such as NetSuite, SAGE, Intaact, QBO, Bill.com, Advanced Excel, Gusto, etc.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting for PE and/or VC funded portfolio companies
• Experience in managing audits for clients is a strong plus
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
• Humility and openness to coaching and critiques
• Keen attention to detail and obsession with accuracy
• Joy and a positive attitude in all communications
• Persistence and ability to politely remind others to stay on track

Requirements

• Availability required five days a week within standard professional hours
• Willingness to work hours that allow for 4 hours of overlap with our US-based team for candidates outside of US time zones
• Common for weekly hours to fluctuate slightly (+/- 3-5 hours) due to varying client demands
