[Hiring] Seasonal Tax Accountant @Monotelo Advisors

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced individual tax preparer who can prepare simple to complex 1040s.

• Identify missing or inconsistent information
• Compare the return to prior years
• Complete the return with minimal corrections
• Prepare tax returns
• File individual 1040 tax returns
• Invoice/collect payments
• Interact with clients

This is a seasonal position expected to run for approximately 10 weeks during the 2027 tax season with training beginning in mid-January. Remote work is an option. We prefer a consistent schedule with some availability during business hours.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA credentials preferred but not required
• Experience using Drake Tax is a plus
• Productivity and accuracy are a must

Requirements

• Approximately 24-40 hours a week based on employee preference and company needs
