Role Description
We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to support day-to-day Revenue Cycle Management operations across the patient account lifecycle. This role may work across billing, claims, payment posting, accounts receivable, denials, and other revenue cycle activities to help ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for provider and hospital clients.

Process and review revenue cycle transactions across assigned client accounts.

Support claim submission, claim status follow-up, payment posting, and accounts receivable activities.

Review accounts for missing information, billing issues, and payment discrepancies.

Investigate unpaid, rejected, and denied claims and route issues to the appropriate team.

Assist with account reconciliation and resolution of outstanding balances.

Review payer and patient account information for accuracy.

Maintain accurate records and documentation within relevant systems.

Identify recurring issues and escalate trends affecting revenue cycle performance.

Collaborate with billing, coding, denials, and patient financial services teams.

Follow established workflows, quality standards, and healthcare compliance requirements.
Qualifications

Experience in Revenue Cycle Management, medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field.

General understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle from registration through payment.

Familiarity with claims, payer processes, billing, and accounts receivable.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to research account issues and resolve discrepancies.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Comfortable working with healthcare and billing software.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple accounts or priorities independently.

Willingness to learn different revenue cycle functions and workflows.
Requirements

Experience working with outsourced Revenue Cycle Management services.

Knowledge of medical coding, denials management, or payer processes.

Experience with electronic health records or practice management systems.

Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management KPIs and reporting.
