[Hiring] Regional Closing Manager @CHURCHILL MORTGAGE CORPORATION

Role Description

This position helps to oversee and manage a team of mortgage closers who are responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is accurate and complete before finalizing the loan closing process.

• Draft all required legal documents and disclosures associated with the settlement of residential mortgage loan transactions.
• Compute and request funds required for residential mortgage loan settlement transactions.
• Coordinate and communicate with all pertinent parties at each step of the transaction, including but not limited to the status of the preparation of documents and the CD (Closing Disclosure) approval.
• Audit the quality and accuracy of each loan package prior to sending to title company or attorney.
• Approve the CD by working closely with the title company and requesting the necessary changes if applicable to ensure the loan meets guidelines and stays compliant.
• Manage and provide guidance to a team of mortgage closers, including training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in the loan closing process.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing the loan closing process.
• Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of the closing team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage closing experience.
• 1+ years managing a team in a remote environment, preferably in the mortgage industry.
• Experience closing loans on Texas properties.
• Bond, DPA & Construction loan knowledge preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with Encompass or other LOS.
• Proficient in Microsoft products.
• Work hours of 8am - 5pm Central.
• This position is fully remote but can be in-office if located near one of our office locations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal history information background check.
