Role Description
The RCM Analyst & Billing Specialist serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in XIFIN billing workflows, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient processing of laboratory claims. The role supports the full revenue cycle - from data integration and claim creation to payment posting, reconciliation, and reporting, while maintaining adherence to payor and regulatory requirements. The Analyst/Specialist provides insight to optimize performance, minimize denials, and improve cash flow.
What You'll Do

Manage end-to-end billing for laboratory services using Xifin’s Revenue Cycle Management core platform.

Validate data imports from LIMS and accounting applications for completeness and compliance.

Manage payor and clearinghouse edits for accuracy before EDI submissions.

Perform cash application functions using Xifin’s process automation for charge corrections, payor updates, and insurance verification.

Post payments and adjustments, reconcile daily deposit and remittance advice.

Track and resolve denials, underpayments, and rejections with root-cause documentation.

Support and manage month-end processes (client and third-party).
What You'll Need

Act as an internal Xifin subject matter expert (SME) managing workflows, payor updates, and system configurations.

Support LIMS’ institutional/client billing, and Xifin’s ERA/835 and MyOme’s accounting process.

Ability to create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all Xifin’s RCM processes.

Ability to conduct QA and UAT testing for new processes and custom reporting features.

Collaborate with IT and payors to resolve system issues and data discrepancies.

Ability to prepare weekly and monthly dashboards for cash flow, payor groups, and aging performance.

Ability to provide executive-level summaries for key trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

Annual salary range of $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
