Role Description

As a Property & Investment Analyst, you will work closely with the Managing Director, Project Director, and Investment Director. Your responsibilities include:

  • Research potential geographic areas and asset sectors to identify acquisition opportunities.
  • Obtain and review project and financial information, complete initial feasibility modelling, conduct due diligence, and organise site inspections.
  • Prepare detailed project feasibility models for potential acquisitions and support investment committee presentations and reporting.
  • Maintain and update investment and project models throughout the development and holding period, including scenario analysis.
  • Produce quarterly financial and portfolio reports for Property Funds and internal stakeholders, tracking performance and key financial metrics.
  • Support compliance and risk management activities related to transactions and ongoing investments.
  • Support retail clients’ strategy and expansion into South East Asia, including network planning, financial modelling, and market entry support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability (financial modelling, scenario analysis).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in retail markets, consumer behaviour, and commercial property.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in property investment, retail property, market research, or financial modelling.
  • Knowledge of South East Asian retail markets and cultural considerations.
  • Familiarity with P&L forecasting, ROI analysis, and investment committee processes.
  • Exposure to compliance and risk management in an investment or funds context.
  • Willingness to travel within Australia and South East Asia.
