Role Description

NEIS, LLC has been a leader in the insurance audit and loss control prevention industry since 1945 and is seeking a Phone Auditor as we continue to grow our team. Phone Auditors examine the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure they are following laws and regulations. As a premium auditor, your primary responsibilities include:

• Preparing for the audit by identifying the necessary information and type of records needed.
• Preparing and mailing letters to request required information.
• Corresponding with insured via phone, email, and mail.
• Examining data to determine correct classifications for business activities and writing effective descriptions of operations.
• Preparing complete audit documents, explaining results to insured, and communicating the results to the review staff.
• Entering progress notes, completing, and submitting audits for review.

Qualifications

• Phone audit experience required.
• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or commercial insurance.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Ability to communicate well with customers and staff.
