Role Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Payment Operations Analyst with 2+ years of experience in card operations or payment processing, who thrives in fast-paced fintech environments and is comfortable navigating multiple systems simultaneously. The Payment Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of our card payment processing ecosystem. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of settlement reconciliation, fraud and dispute management, card printing operations, and network reporting.

Verify daily file transmission to the card printer through the designated channel, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Review and analyze exceptions reported by the card printer, including contingency management.

Review and reconcile daily settlement files received from the payment network, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Manage transactional service-level events and exceptions from the Fraud Management System, including potential transaction declines triggered by fraud rules.

Review, manage, and analyze fraud and dispute cases within the fraud management platform and dispute management system.

Manage and analyze administrative messages received through the payment gateway, determining and executing required actions.

Monitor and manage transactional notification events within the card manager and card processor environments.

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned in alignment with the operational needs of the card payments business.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in card operations, payment processing, or financial services operations.

Experience with card management platforms and payment processors is highly desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Requirements

Understanding of card payment ecosystems: issuing, acquiring, processing, and settlement.

Knowledge of chargeback and dispute management processes and regulatory frameworks.

Familiarity with payment network mandates and compliance requirements (Mastercard, Visa, or equivalent).

Experience with fraud prevention systems and dispute management platforms.

Understanding of EMV standards, PCI-DSS compliance, and BIN management.

Proficiency in data analysis and dashboard generation for operational performance monitoring.

Understanding of authorization flows, interchange, and settlement reconciliation processes.
